Frequently Asked Questions

The start of your tattoo journey may be understandably intimidating, and you may be a bit nervous to ask questions; here are a few FAQs to enlighten you!

How can I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

– The week leading up to the appointment, make sure to hydrate! You could also exfoliate the skin every other day and keep your skin moisturized to ensure the tattooing process will be smooth sailing!

– Before you come in for your appointment, make sure that you are well rested, you’ve eaten, and you’re hydrated for a more comfortable experience.

– Dress appropriately: Loose fitting clothing, or clothing that ensures that the area you are getting tattooed is easily accessible.

-If a silent appointment is needed, let your artist know beforehand!

-Communication is KEY in this process! Make sure to be open with your artist for anything it is you may need!

What should I bring to the appointment?

-You MUST bring a form of Photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport).

-You may bring water, snacks, and things like a book or headphones to pass the time while you are getting tattooed.

PLEASE come alone. If you bring someone they must wait in the lobby unless they are also getting tattooed by me.

How does the deposit work?

– By sending a deposit (Zelle or Venmo), you are ensuring that your appointment is SET and is unavailable to other clients that may want to book that same slot. If a deposit is not sent, your appointment is NOT finalized.

-Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!

– The deposit is included in the price of the tattoo. Once you send your deposit, the amount that you have sent will be subtracted from the price of the tattoo.

(Ex. Tattoo is $400, you’ve sent a $100 deposit, so you will pay $300 on the day of your appoinment)

What forms of payment do you take?

– For the deposit, I use Zelle and Venmo.

– For the day of appointment, I take cash and card.

IMPORTANT: Card transations have a sales tax and card fee, to avoid it, you may pay cash.

How much do you charge for your tattoos?

– I have a MINIMUM of $100

– My full day (6-6.5 hours) is $700

-Occasionally I will charge by the piece. This means design, sizing, and placement will be considered in pricing, rather than a set price like my full day sessions.

How do touchups work?

-Occasionally, especially with fineline tattoos, you may need a touchup after your appointment, this is completely normal.

-Touch ups are 100% FREE, for the first 6 months after the tattoo is done! If the touchup is done after the 6 months, pricing is determined by how much needs to be touched up.

-To schedule a touchup, you may message me on Instagram to set it up with me.
